IBPS SO Eligibility Criteria 2018 – Highlights

The eligibility criteria of IBPS SO 2018 is a set of conditions consisting of basic requirements in an applicants in terms of age limit, nationality and educational qualifications according to the posts that will be announced. All the interested applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria of IBPS SO and ensure they fulfill each of them to be eligible for participation in the recruitment to the post of Specialist Officer. IBPS has decide the upper and lower age limit for all the applicants as a part of IBPS SO eligibility criteria. Applicants should be within the specified age bracket on the date of applying online according to the post of their interest. The age limit under the IBPS SO 2018 eligibility criteria is as follows:-

  • Minimum Age: 20 years
  • Maximum Age: 30 Years

IBPS SO Exam Pattern
There is separate syllabus for different post in IBPS SO Exam Pattern.Lets understand below tables for the IBPS SO Exam Pattern 2017 post wise.

  • All the test will be available bilinguallyexcept the test of English Language.
  • All The Prelims Exam is only qualifying in nature. 
  • The Marks that you obtain in the Prelims exams will not be included in the final merit list.
  • Negative marking of 0.25 marks is there for every wrong answer.

Law Officer & Rajbhasha Adhikari Scale I (Specialist Officer Exam Pattern)
There will be total four subjects for law officer and Rajbhasha Officer Scale 1 in IBPS SO Exam Pattern, Subjects are Reasoning Ability, English Language, General Awareness (mainly banking sector) and Professional Knowledge.
